Licensed Nursing & Staff Physician Services

Physician services are available to residents 24 hours a day. Our three facility physicians routinely evaluate residents in the six nursing units. Residents may be evaluated by any physician of their choice who meets all state and federal regulations and facility policies. Appointments can be scheduled with one of our in-house specialists:

  • Audiologist
  • Dentist
  • Ophthalmologist
  • Optometrist
  • Podiatrist
  • Psychologist
  • Wound care physician

Our trained staff consisting of professional registered nurses provides, licensed practical nurses, and certified nursing assistants, with the leadership of the director of nursing, provide compassionate clinical care. Comprehensive care of each resident is designed to maintain wellness through a program based on assessment and care planning.

Restorative Nursing

The Restorative Nursing Program at Claremont is designed to help residents achieve independent self-care and mobility. Some of the programs available include:

  • Activities of daily living
  • Feeding and restorative dining
  • Practicing of balance skills
  • Range of motion
  • Splint and brace assistance
  • Wheelchair and bed mobility

Respite Care

Respite care is available at the same cost as the daily rate. This service allows loved ones to take a needed break from their daily caregiving roles. The Office of Aging has a Medical Assistance waiver program available for respite care funding. We also accept funding from the Veterans Affairs Office and Hospice for respite care.
